    Jetpack Mechanic ??

The Mobile Theme searches through the custom menu locations for your current desktop theme and displays the menu assigned to the primary position. If you have no custom menus assigned, it will default to the standard page menu.

I’d consequently suggest that you go to Appearance > Menus in your dashboard, and edit the menu assigned to the primary position in your theme to make it fit your needs.

    I hope this helps.

My theme, Twenty Fourteen, supports two menus. One in the top primary menu area and one in the left sidebar. I have created an alternative menu that I would like to be displayed on mobile devices. But if I assign it to the primary position then it will also display on desktops. How could I assign the mobile menu to the Mobile Theme?

    Thank you.

I’m afraid that’s not possible at the moment. Jetpack’s Mobile Theme cannot define a new menu area to be used only in the mobile theme. The different menu areas available under Appearance > Menus are controlled by the active theme, your desktop theme.
