remove category title when opening category

When I click on a category in the sidebar, the top of the post says “Archive for the ‘xxxxx’ Category”. I want to remove this header and just start with the most recent post in that category. How do I change this in the theme files?
Much appreciated if you can help me out as I am still learning about wordpress.
