Remove Category count brackets

    Hey ppl.

    I’m trying to style a category page, specifically the <mark> count brackets.

    <mark class="count">(6)</mark>

    I want to remove the brackets, so I can replace it with a background color and border radius 100%.

    I appreciate the time it took you to post a response, but I was able to get this done with only a few lines of php.

    Just curious how you would remove the parenthesis with JS, and why.
