Remove /category/ bug?

    Since the last update, i really miss the “remove /category/ from slug base function” and all my URLs changed back.
    Why was it removed? And i couldn′t find this change in the changelog of the plugin.

    I think this change ist quite ugly, if you try to target first category pages.

    Did i do something wrong?

  • It has not (yet) been completely removed but will be in v1.6. Now it’s only visible for people who had the functionality turned on.
    The reason it will be removed is that it is really quite buggy and there are other plugins available which do this well.

    Yoast advises to use the FV Top Level Categories plugin for that functionality.

    THX but i only see that message in the normal verison of the plugin. In premium version, everything is fine. Will it also be removed from there?

    I believe it will be, but am not 100% sure.
