Remove /category/ and XML sitemap

    If I disable /category/
    I see that all request to

    myurl.com/category/category-name will be redirected to
    myyrl.com/category-name

    But XML sitemap and permalink have /category/ in the permalink.

    Having the same issue, google has picked up on it also through webmasters. It says indexed but not submitted in sitemap because the sitemaps.xml does not reflect the actual url, it includes the /category/ on the sitemap. Only noticed because the site took a dive in rankings. Not sure if this is why?

    Just confirming update to Seopress 3.5 has fixed remove /category/ option for me.
