• Hi there. I’m trying to make the transition to WordPress today and am just having one little issue:
It seems that WordPress automatically inserts a couple of carriage returns after the title. Is there a way to turn this off? I want the content of the post to begin right after the title–on the very same line. A sample post, as I’d like to lay it out, might look like this:
    —- begin example —-
MY BRIEF VISIT TO TIMES SQUARE: Last Saturday I went to Times Square, where I bought a newspaper, drank some coffee, took in the sights, and was nearly run over by a rabid mule.
    —- end example —-
    Instead, I’m getting this:
    —- begin example —-
MY BRIEF VISIT TO TIMES SQUARE
Last Saturday I went to Times Square, where I bought a newspaper, drank some coffee, took in the sights, and was nearly run over by a rabid mule.
    —- end example —-
I’m not inserting these carriage returns myself, so I’m assuming WP does it automatically. Anybody know how I can fix this?
