Remove breadcrumbs on pages and post?

How can i remove breadcrumbs on “all” posts and pages.. i know ill get an option while editing pages.. but i need to remove it on all pages.. and for “404 not found page” i have no option to remove breadcrumb in onetone theme. i tried removing breadcrumb code on single.php, page.php, breadcrumb.php, breadcrumb-trail.php.. but didnt work.. can you help me..
