I have a header image that has the blog name in it, and I would like to remove the blog title and search bar in the space above the image. The theme i’m using is Twenty Eleven 1.3, and my blog can be found at https://www.sweetphi.com

I’d like to have the image at the top of the page. Any help would be much appreciated!

Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. Create a child theme for your changes.

if this is the only customisation you need to do, try:

dashboard – appearance – header – display text: no

to deal with the searchbar, which then moved down, is something to do when the child theme is activated.

Thank you @alchymyth, that tip worked!
