Remove blog posts on home page

No posts should show up on the static page. It should’t require any code.

Yet if I don’t use the plugin, it does and when I do use the plugin the “Nothing found” shows up. If you look at my page you will clearly see the “Nothing Found” dialog.

remove that plugin. it’s not necessary. Do as kmessinger suggested.

Ok I have removed it so that you can clearly see the last three posts are showing on the homepage. And yes it is set up as the static home page with nothing selected for blog so none of the posts are supposed to show on the home page yet if you click on my page you will see they are. I have followed the instructions on the link Kmessinger suggested already and again if you look at my page the posts are still showing up on the home page. I think it has something to do with the theme, which is Gateway btw.

Create a new page and set that as the blog page.

Yes, it’s the theme. Does anyone know how to alter the code in the Gateway theme Homepage template to prevent the posts from appearing on the static front page?

try not to use the ‘home’ page template for your static home page.

If I don’t use the home page template then it doesn’t behave the way we want and won’t have the hero widget.
