Remove Auto Shipping

    I’m having an issue with WooCommerce automatically selecting a base shipping rate and adding it to total cost immediately upon arriving at the checkout page, then readjusting shipping costs once a postal code is indicated.

    I want to have it so that when proceeding to checkout a subtotal is shown — without shipping — and shipping is only calculated AFTER a postal code/shipping address is added. How can I do this?

    Great question! I would suggest enabling “Hide all costs until address is entered” from WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Options:
