Remove /author/ link from thumbnail on rank list

I am using a rank list to show the different achievements of my users. The users appear under their rank with a thumbnail photo. These thumbnails now have a link on them that takes you to a /author/username url. How do I remove these links? Is this from a recent update because I do not remember them being present before today.
I found a link that describes how to add them but I did not add this to my code.

The code snippet you saw on this link refers to a customization on the Leaderboards add-on to add a link to the author page
To disable the link you are looking for, check this code snippet we recently added to help everyone disable it:
