    Hi, is it possible to remove the author from the backend in all sportspress post types (matches, clubs, staff, etc.)?

    Hi @nehme1499 ,

    What do you mean by “remove the author from the backend”. Every post, match, club, staff, team, page etc, needs to have an author. Do you need to just hide the Author meta-box from the backend? You can make that easily by deselecting the “User” from the Screen Options. https://snipboard.io/AhaBUw.jpg

    I mean that, when I go in the page source, it shows who created the article. This becomes problematic as Google shows the article as having been created by someone. Even though there shouldn’t really be an author.

    When also creating references in Wikipedia, Wikipedia automatically detects who the author is.

    Ideally, I would like it so that the author cannot be “known”.

    You need to create a custom single-team.php file based on your theme’s single.php. There you should remove every mention in author. The same with events, staff etc.
