remove aside-format post in the main content area

  • Hi,
    I just switched to Twentyfourteen on my site. According to the demo site, aside-format posts and video-format posts are not supposed to show up. How to remove the aside-format post from the main content area?

    That’s not correct. All supported format (aside, image, video, audio, quote, link, and gallery) will also show up in the main content area.

    OK. so is there a way to filter the main content area based on format or category or tags?
