The latest release for this Stripe plugin is causing our site tonnes of issues. The animation for the card icons is causing a tonne of css issues and we have no choice but to revert back to the older version of the plugin. Is there a way to revert back to the “static” version of the card icons on the checkout page?

It is also causing alot of bugs on our checkout page and making everything look really bad

Does anyone know how to change back to the static card icons instead of the animation? The animation does not display correctly on our checkout page and is messing with the css in our checkout box (causing everything including our PayPal icons to be moved to the right). Sometimes the card icons do not even display at all on mobile which is terrible. The static icons in the previous versions works great – why the change?

This is the most buggy Stripe plugin update to date!!!

Any advice would be helpful, thanks

    Hi @mrkawaii,

There are minor issues with version 5.6, please roll back to version 5.5.0 for now. The developers are working on a new release.

You can download the version here:

    Thanks!

    Hi @thup90

Is there a way to remove the animation all together and just display the static card icons? Is there any css code that can do this?

The new plugin is really messing our site up and conversions are down

Appreciate a quick fix, thank you

Displaying all the credit card logos at once used to cause a misalignment issue for most templates, unfortunately.

We’re working on a fix to display a static and generic credit card icon instead now, so this should be more consistent with other payment gateways, which show just one icon.

The brand logo will still be visible once the credit card number is entered, and if the credit card is unsupported, users will be notified, so this shouldn’t cause conversion issues.
