Remove ALT&Title Text field in manage gallery page

    Does anyone know how you can remove the Alt&Title text field from the manage gallery page, the reason for this is that it’s creating tiny boxes when you hover over the images.

    I had a temporary fix on this by removing the space it keeps automatically adding in each time I go to the page but it’s becoming a real pain now.

  • The alt attributes should NEVER be removed from images. If those images also act as links (eg to larger versions), the alt attribute MUST also be properly populated so that it can be used in place of the image. This is essential for visually-impaired users.

    I thought not, I remember seeing somewhere you should not remove it, I guess I will just have to keep removing the blank space
