remove all blog references for use as a business site

  • How do I remove categories, archives, comments, date and time, etc. so that I can use it as a regular site?

  • Go into the theme and just manually take them out. The specifics of your theme vary, but in generally, when you look at the source code in your browser:

    Everything from the top to the start of the body is found in header.
    Everything from there down to the start of the sidebar is in the individual page (archive, single, etc)
    Everything from there down is in footer.

    Just go in an manually take them out and you’ll be all set.

    However… why would you want to use WordPress if you’re going to take all of that out… WordPress is great, but I don’t think it’d be much use in that purpose…
