Remove a patron's hold?

    How does the Librarian remove a hold? We have some patrons that request an item, but never come to pick it up. We want to get these items back in circulation. I tried clicking the “Check In” button, but it told me the item was not checked out.

    There isn’t a way for a librarian to release a patron’s hold. The hold will eventually expire.

    The *patron* can release the hold.

    I guess there is a functional hole in the plugin — a librarian probably should be able to release a hold.

    You *could* just check the item out to the patron and then check it back in.

    Ok, I used the checkout/checkin functions to clear the hold. Sorry, I should have thought of that!

    Ability to release a hold would be a feature request to add for future updates. ??
