Remove 0 comments from individual post page

  • I know it has been covered in other forums but none of the outcomes seems to work for my site. I need the “0 comments” remove from underneath the post title on the post page

    There may be a few different ways to go about accomplishing this, depending on the theme you are using. One thing to note is that disabling comments here: SETTINGS >> DISCUSSION >> Allow people to submit comments on new posts … will only do so for future posts you create. To retroactively remove commenting from existing posts, you will need to edit each post/page and uncheck the setting “Allow Comments” in the right sidebar:

    Depending on your theme, you may have other global or template options to modify various components of the byline for displaying the count of comments and other tags and metadata. If that is your desired outcome, you can visit the support forum your specific theme and post a new topic for additional support.
