• I have a scenario where the client has certain add-on products which cannot be purchased alone. So I have set these products dependent on a certain category. So my question is if a customer removes any product and the add-on product is alone in the basket, would it be possible to automatically remove the add-on product as well?

    Hey @rudiweber,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Let’s assume that to purchase Product A it is necessary to first add Product B to the cart. If you have added both products to the cart and then remove Product B, then:
    1. a notice similar to this one: https://cl.ly/8b9ff365398d will show up and;
    2. the checkout page will display this message: https://cl.ly/e38216b01b0e.

    Automatically removing products that customers did not explicitly choose to remove is not ideal from a UX point of view — that’s why it is not possible out of the box. However, you can definitely do this by writing a fair amount of custom code. To help you with this, we recommend hiring a developer. Our top suggestion is https://codeable.io.
