Thanks — I’m using Make and it looks like you have to purchase the upgrade to have the option to remove their footer, unless there’s a workaround. I really like the theme, but it’s enough to have me thinking of switching. I can appreciate that they want credit, but not that many websites seem to have to keep the byline there.

I put the code in CSS but found that out afterwards. It didn’t do anything to the theme credit.

Go to Appearance>Editor>footer-credit.php

Change this line: $footer_credit = apply_filters( 'make_show_footer_credit', true );

to: $footer_credit = apply_filters( 'make_show_footer_credit', false );

Should do the trick. Let me know.
