    Hey there,
after the latest update the plugin is finally working, but the remote sync status says since hours “Pending” and on the pinterest catalogue page it says :

    Catalog needs to be checked
One of your data sources has less than 50% of your catalog successfully uploaded. Fix these issues to continue.

Wondering if it is normal and takes so long or if any action is required?

    Thanks!
    Rainer

  • Hi,
I just installed the plugin yesterday. It took around 45 minutes to sort out and ingest my feed with only 55 products. I can imagine it could take a long time with a larger catalog.

I hope it works for you!

Thanks, I have a few hundred but it shouldn’t take 6 hours I guess.

    Hello @coresince84,

    Hope you are doing well!

Did you set the catalog in products?
Path: WordPress Dashbord> Product > scroll down to Product data > Pinterest > Product attributes set Condition and Google Category

Try the following steps to restart your feed ingestion.

    1. Go to Settings tab on “Marketing > Pinterest”
    2. Disable “Enable product sync”
    3. Enable “Erase Plugin Data” and Save
    4. Go to Connection tab on ?”Marketing > Pinterest”
    5. Disconnect your accoun by clicking on “Disconnect”
    6. Deactivate and uninstall “Pinterest for WooCommerce”
    — At this point no feed should be present on /wp-content/uploads, no settings on the table wp-options, no Scheduled actions related to Pinterest and no feed registered on Pinterest—
    7. Install again “Pinterest for WooCommerce”
    8. Restart the Pinterest onboarding
    9. Wait 24hs until Pinterest approve the catalog?

Let me know if this help.

    Best,`
    Pepe

Thanks, did the reset and will wait 24hours. But status says that about 800 products were synced but I have only 200. I hope not every wpml Translation or product variation is synced as single product?

    Hello @coresince84,

If you have different product variants (the same product in different variants), each variant is treated as a different product.

Does that mean I have to set that for every single product and can’t match entire categories to google categories? If yes I am giving up on this…

You can find a similar idea on the forum or if there is no new one, describe it and the more people vote for it the faster we can add new features

    Hey there,

Since we haven’t heard back from the OP in a while, I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Best,
