Any idea what’s causing this error? I’ve tried reconnecting our Pinterest account with the plugin. I’ve turned the sync on and off. I’ve even added a manual feed with Pinterest.

I’ve noticed that the XML file is not showing the updates we made to the google_product_category and condition fields.

    Hey @jweiblej

    Hope you are doing well!

I think that your issue could be:

1- Special characters on the SKU field of products
2- Special character on Product category

I will need to check the feed created. Go to Catalog tab on “Marketing > Pinterest” and send me the link “feed file”

I will check it for you.

    Best,
    Christian

Thank you so much for your help! Here is my feed file link: https://jessicasprints.com/wp-content/uploads/pinterest-for-woocommerce-rf6MjA.xml

@jweiblej I had this issue, it was caused by W3Cache, had to exclude *.xml pages so they did not get cached. Are you running a caching plugin?

    Hey @jweiblej

    Thanks for your patience.

There is a product that on the SKU field has the special character “&” (product id 9938). please update it and follow these steps:

    1. Go to Settings tab on “Marketing > Pinterest”
    2. Disable “Enable product sync” and save
    — At this point no feed should be present on /wp-content/uploads and no Scheduled actions related to Pinterest —
    3. Enable “Enable product sync” and save
    4. Feed should be recreated and will be updated on Pinterest account on the next 24hs

    Best,

    Hi

Same problems here! Switched on today only to find the failed error message. I have followed everything you’ve mentioned @christian1983 and got it to the stage where it now says:

We could not access your feed file. Please check that the URL and credentials are correct and that the feed exists in the provided location.

    This is my feed file:
    https://wildpawsrecrafting.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/pinterest-for-woocommerce-l19Nif.xml

I’ve been trying for 2 weeks to get verified seller status and was continuing to have problems yesterday despite Pinterest Tag Helper telling me everything was working fine, so don’t know if this has anything to do with the issue or if this is a new one! Just about ready to give up!!

    Hope you are doing well!

I’m sorry that you are experiencing inconveniences, and I do understand how this can be frustrating.

Right now on Pinterest side they are having some issue with their API. so this could be the issue.

Thanks @christian1983 . I have contacted Support with the above information. Will keep my fingers crossed for success. I was going to look at other options to link to Pinterest but I’ll hold off until I hear back on this.
