Remote License Creation

Hello,

We are looking to see if the following scenario is possible.

Our plugin we offer is going to be free of charge but would like it to be licensed so we have an idea of who is currently using it. This is a plugin where we make a commission off of people sending payments through the payment gateway along with other sales reps outside of our company suggesting it’s use.

So in order to make it as simple as possible when a person installs the plugin is it possible to click an activate button that requests a license from our license manager server and activates the license without having to go through a checkout process on our website – keep the user on their website?
