Reminders with Mailchimp

Haven’t installed the plug-in yet. Before I do, I’d like to confirm functionality for sending reminders to tickets purchasers in the weeks/days leading up to the event.

Can ticket purchaser emails be automatically added to a mailchimp list dedicated to that event?
