"Remembering" which tab was open rather than opening first tab

Hi.

This is a minor issue, but it is puzzling me and may cause “political” problems within my organization.

The first time I load the page with the tabs, it defaults to having the first tab open, which is what I want. If I open a different tab and then leave the page but return later within the same session, the page opens with whatever tab was selected before, rather than opening the first tab.

Fortunately, if I leave the site and then return, it opens the first tab again.

I have cleared the cache and the behavior persists.

Is there a way to force it to always open the first tab?
