Reliable! Saves a lot of time and stress

Blogvault is a straightforward backup plugin that is professionally managed, with excellent customer support. It is the only paid plugin I use, and it is worth the money because they are professionals. For me, a DIY person in general, I don’t want to depend on the whims of a freeware programmer–love them as I do–in this particular area of the wordpress experience.

The installation was simple, mainly inputting ftp settings. Your site is archived on the Blogvault.com site, which has a nice dashboard for deploying the functions it offers.

The plugin has saved me a lot of tedium and has saved my (online) life twice by having a timely backup when needed. Imagine a plugin service that maintains a current snapshot of your site that actually works, reliably.

I consider Blogvault a key security asset, because I can always roll back the site to a pre-problem phase. Instead of trying to find the perfect matrix of constantly updating and changing security applications and protocols … I simply have an automatic backup ready at all times. The site backup can also be downloaded for archiving anytime, and can also restore your site online.

Another thing I like about Blogvault is for what they call migrations. All you have to do is have a working wordpress installed in the directory you want, and Blogvault will transfer a copy of your site. This makes it very simple to seed a new site’s design, or to create a sandbox site for development.

I’ve had Blogvault for several years now, and the few times I had questions the support was available and friendly. It probably seems that I am a fan of the plugin, even someone who wants to repay a debt of gratitude for having their last nerve spared, because I am!
