Relevanssi & Polylang Multilanguage Results in Ajax Search

  • Hi,

    Since a while I get multilanguage results in the ajax search results.
    Allow results from all languages is not activated.

    I already deactivated all plugins to check if there’s a conflict. The error seems to be in Relevanssi.

    Any idea how to fix that?

    Relevanssi doesn’t have an AJAX search. What exactly is powering that AJAX search?

    It comes from the theme “Enfold”

    Have you asked your the Enfold support about this? I don’t know how the AJAX search is done in Enfold, so I can’t help there. If the AJAX search is using Relevanssi, it should return the same results as your normal Relevanssi search, but if it’s not powered by Relevanssi in the first place, adjusting Relevanssi results can’t have any effect on it.

    Not yet. They just write that Relevanssi ajax search is supported by the theme in the core.

    So you don’t know what might cause the problem but the ajax search from Enfold?

    When I deactivate Relevanssi I get clear results for the current language.

    The Polylang language restriction is a taxonomy parameter. If the Enfold Ajax search overrides the taxonomy parameters, that would remove the Polylang restriction from the search. But as I don’t know what Enfold does, I can’t say if that’s the case. That would explain it, though.
