Relevanssi and Simple Intranet

We are using WP for our Intranet and we are using the plugin ADI to download AD Users and create WP User. Then we use the Plugin “Simple Intranet” to create a Employee Directory based on the WP users.
With ADI we get from the AD a number of AD/LDAP attributes that we store in wp_usermeta. With SI we can then use these meta_key/meta_value fields and display them for a User as Department, Team, Location, Title, Manager, SkypeId, address, country, phone, mobile phone, etc.
This all works fairly good, but the search in SI can only search in one of these field at a time. So now we are looking for something that can extend the WP Search to include everything from Users to Pages and Posts.
So, my first question is if anybody else is using Simple Intranet to create a Employee Directory? If you do, are you then also using Relevanssi together with SI and does that work for you? Can you search for Users, Pages and Posts?
Basically what I am trying to figure out before buying Relevanssi is if I can use Relevanssi to search for a User using a custom selection of the meta_keys that we have for every WP User.
Btw, this OT but if you have a suggestion for an alternative to SI we are also interested in this.
