Relevance based on taxonomies

  • Hello!

    I’m currently using Search & Filter together with Relevanssi to show results based on taxonomies and I would like them to be ordered by relevance – is it possible to do without a search word? Ideally I would like the posts with the most of the selected taxonomies to be shown first.

    Relevance in Relevanssi is always relevance related to the search word. Without a search word, there’s nothing to be relevant to.

    When there’s no search word, there’s no point in using Relevanssi in the first place – those queries should be done without Relevanssi, as that’s much more effective.

    Search & Filter support may be more helpful in this case.
