Hello, I’m having a hard time on the variations part, I didn’t find any plugin to help me solve this problem, I’m creating a website and it will be sold cell phone covers, but I would need the attributes like this website below:

look at the print link: https://prnt.sc/s67rqs

As I couldn’t get any plugin to make this type of attribute, I ended up creating the variations like this:

Look at the print link: https://prnt.sc/s67rjh
However, you would need to remove the lock that prompts the person to choose all the variations, so that if the guy has a Brand X Cellphone, choose only the model he wants.

See below the links of the sites to better understand my problem.

Site where I need to leave the same variations: https://case4you.com.br/produtos/capa-mickey-e-minnie

    The website I’m creating: https://site.glocall.com.br/produto/case-florais-12/

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Thank you for including those links and screenshots.

It appears you have currently set up your variations with each phone maker as an attribute, with the models as terms in that attribute.

Instead, to set things up like the example site you sent, you will want to create the “Maker” / “Model” / “Material” as the attributes, with ALL of the different options set as terms in each attribute, similar to this:

    attributes

After that, you would create variations with only the combinations you want to have available — so iPhone models with the iPhone maker, etc:

    variations

Then it should only have options available for combinations you have defined.

Note however that the dropdowns will only be “dynamic” up to a certain limit of variations (for example, with smaller numbers of variations, when you select “iPhone”, the model dropdown would update to only show iPhone models — however, when the number of variations passes that limit, they no longer automatically update, and instead it shows you a “variation not available” message after selecting an unavailable combination). To increase this limit, you can use a snippet like the one available here (you would change the 50 to the number you want to set the limit to):

Please note, however, making that limit too high can affect performance on the page.

    I hope that helps!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
