well, there is an action hook to remove the current canononical link and it appears to work on my sites…is there any other plugin you’re running (like some seo plugin) that is also putting a canonical link there?

ok…that makes sense. Maybe, if this is working for you, you can rate the plugin ??

    you must be sure ??

Hi all, I’m confused at such a request, mentioning that I took several hours googling and trying to understand where the canonical rel was being posted from. (I’ve just found out that rss importer was doing it)

I’m aggregating some articles and would like search engines to index my pages as well… What is the problem with that?

In fact, though not so necessary, I’d want to remove the canonical for the posts already in my site.

my plugin will get rid of the current canonical and put in the correct canonical for posts created by the plugin – not for posts not created by the plugin.

yes, I know about that link…that’s why there is an option in my plugin to do that.
