The latest plug in is adding this to all my pages and its the WRONG URL! This causes a bunch of 404 errors, which then triggers Security software to block the IP address. Thus, preventing customers from ordering products.

Hi @ericgf,

Thanks for reaching out. Just to be clear, the relative URLs aren’t working on your site. Is that right? Is it just for these files or do other relative links not work?

If you insert a relative link into the content of a page, does it load correctly when clicked or does it give a 404 error?

I guess it would also 404 on any file because WordPress is installed in its own folder. Those files are all referenced by Woocommerce Blocks so I assume the plug in would generate the appropriate absolute URL and not a relative URL? I only notice this problem since last update.

Hey @ericgf,

Thanks for mentioning that WordPress was in a separate directory. I can reproduce this. For a standard site, this won’t matter tremendously since the relative URLs will still load the scripts. For a sub-directory installation though, it does break them.

All of the scripts which are included with WooCommerce Blocks loaded with absolute URLs which included the subdirectory where WordPress was installed.

However, the ones in /wp-includes are missing the /wp but I think it’s intended for them to absolutely URLs anyway.

Rolling back to version 7.2.1 caused the URLs to go back to being absolute.

I’ve opened up a GitHub issue about this to alert the developers that this is happening. Feel free to follow along with it to see what develops here.

A fix for this issue will be in WooCommerce Blocks 8.6.0, coming next week.
