Relative image path issue again

I’ve searched about this issue in the past and there are threads discussing it that date back 4 years. On one thread there was the suggestion to try v1.7, suggesting this issue was fixed, but I just ran into it today.
The plugin runs through the 5000 images on my site just fine until it reaches the final 400 which are the oldest ones and then I get the error:
“The originally uploaded image file cannot be found at /home/public_html/..”
I’m sure that this is caused by me moving web hosts and changing the home folder name back then (nearly ten years ago), but I’m surprised to see this is still an issue.
The images are still available when viewed using their regular URL
