Relationship item online edit not working

    Hello!

    After updating WordPress to version 5.6, when I try to edit a selected item in a relationship type field (click on pencil icon) a modal is displayed with no content where it previously showed an edit form. No js errors in console.
    Is this related to a version incompatibility for jQuery?

    Screen prints:

    form before click
    after click

    This is indeed a jQuery related issue since WP 5.6.
    We already have patched the problem and are preparing to release it a.s.a.p.

    thanks for your reply (and thanks @diegarf for posting the question). Any guess as to when the next update might be released? If I’m understanding correctly, this next version should also solve the problem of the “Add New” modal for relationship fields coming up blank. Yes? Hope so, anyway! I’m sorry to say I’m not experienced enough with using github to know how to try out your beta version.
