Relationship – Deleting Entry – There was an error rendering the field

    Hi,

    I have the following issue with Relationship Fields:

    Field Type: Relationship Field
    Selection Type: Single Select
    Input Type: Autocomplete OR List View (with reordering)

    Clicking “x” to delete an entry from a field in a post type generates the following error message:
    There was an error rendering the field.

    So, if I then want to enter a value into the field concerned, I need to reload the page, which is not handy at all.

    The only workaround I found for now is using the following:
    Single Select – Autocomplete – Selection Limit: 1

    Hi,

    I thought I had submitted this issue to GitHub but after seeing that it was still there, I realized I had not (an oversight of mine).

    So, I have just submitted it to GitHub.

    I made a little mistake in my previous post. The correct workaround is:
    Multiple Select – Autocomplete – Selection Limit: 1

    Sorry, I found back this issue on GitHub.

    I had completely forgotten that I had already posted it.

    So, I indicated “Duplicate of #6454“.
