    Hi,

The website I’m working on has 3 different languages. For some reason one of the translations of one page lost its relationship with the other pages. All the pages are still there, 2 of them have a relation, but 1 does not.

This is the second time this happened with this page and I have no idea how it happened.Of course the page where this problem is occuring is the page with the most content. I’m using ACF for that.

Can I go into the database and set the relationship back again? I’ve been looking into it but haven’t found where the pages are being related with one another.

    Hi,

You don’t need to access the database. But you can type the title of the translation in the Languages metabox, select the correct page and update. See bullet 2 here: https://polylang.pro/doc/translating-pages-posts-categories-and-tags/

Oh damn, I didn’t know it was that simple…

Thank you very much for your answer Chouby.

Once again multiple pages have lost connection between them.
Problem is now that what you suggested doesn’t work anymore.

    Example:

    Home page
    Page names:
    – Home (en)
    – Home (fr)
    – Home (nl)

The English home page has been disconnected from the other languages. In the languages box there is nothing filled in. When there I type in “Home” or even just “H” then there are no suggestions. When I go to another page like “Contact” where translations between page have been disconnected and I type in “H” or “Home” then it shows me the home page. It’s also like that the other way around. On the Contact page I don’t have suggestions for the other contact pages, but I do on the home page.

    Whats going on here? :/
I also don’t get why the connections between pages get lost, I’ve had this multiple times now.

    Hi,

Maybe it’s a conflict with another plugin. Or maybe are you using a database cleaning tool which deletes these relationships?
