I have a question about setting up relational fields.

For example I use field 1 with the follwing values:

    – A
    – B
    – C
    – D

If I choose A in field 1, I want field 2 to display the following values to choose from:

    – VV
    – TT
    – LL
    – 55
    – BB

If I choose B in field 1, I want field 2 to display the following values to choose from:

    – HH
    – PP
    – FF
    – WW
    – JJ

Is that possible? And also easy to use as search fields, which displays a pulldown with values based on the previous field?

    Kind Regards,

You can filter your relationship lists based on values in other relationship fields. This is handled using the Advanced Options for defining the field “Customized WHERE for Select Options”.

Unfortunately, your list of options above don’t really make sense to me without knowing the ‘context’ of the data, so I would hope those displays are based on parts filtering or something else. If your data model is logical and has context, you can pretty much do whatever you need to filter based on another value in a relationship. Just play around with it when creating your Pods.
