Related videos by TAGS

  • Hello and thank you for this plugin. Very well done.

    I’m wondering if its possible or if there is shortcode to sort videos by TAGS.

    For example, I have a post about “cats and dogs” with the tag “cats, dogs”.
    I have another post about “birds” with the tag “birds”.

    For each post, I’d like to find the videos with the relevant tags posted under the video category “Animals”.

    Is there some shortcode for that?

  • Hi,

    If you have added tags for video when adding/editing it, then it will be displayed under player in video detail page. For this, go to admin -> Video Gallery -> Settings -> find “Enable Tags” under “General Settings” and enable the option.

    And also you can search videos based on tags using “Video Search” widget.

    But if you want to display videos based tags using shortcode, then this feature is not available in our default package and need to customize it. If you are interested in customization, contact the Business Development Team at [email protected]

    i hope in the future, you create a specific naviguation by tag (not by the video search widget)

    Currently, there is no sub category option in video gallery plugin. However you can customize it. If you are interested in customization, contact the Business Development Team at [email protected]

    I have added the shortcode option for search tag in our feature list. Our development team will analyze and work on it. I cannot share the release date of the next version now.
