related products AddToCart

Hello, when i the singel prduct page, I add the product to the cart and add_to_cart works properly.

However, when I click on the Add to Cart button that appears when I hover over the product in the related products section at the bottom of the page on the same page, add_to_cart is not triggered. is there a solution to this?
