Currently, whenever someone clicks on the Jetpack Related Posts links, it is redirected to a query string to measure the stats (I don’t know what’s the point of this as I cannot see any option to measure or view it at least.)

But the point is, this prevents the sites from benefiting the speed enhancement features such as “preloading the links in the viewport”, or hover, and similar functionalities provided by other tools. Because the plugin redirects the URLs anyways whether it is preloaded or not.

So, what is the point of this “Stats”? I cannot see an option to view it myself. And how can I disable that feature and make the related post links a regular link without any redirections?

  • Hi there @muhammedswalihct! Can you clarify where this Jetpack Related Posts link is? I’m not sure which link you mean and I want to be sure that we’re focused on the right place so that we can get you the right answer.

Could you please also post your site URL here so that we can have a look?

If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

    Thanks!
