Related posts shows no thumbnails when image is video.

  • as you can see, the images are not displayed because the entire post is just a video

    Also note that author, date, time … are displayed even though I disabled them in the settings.

    This is the correct screenshot. The image is the placeholder because the plugin does not recognize video or am I missing something?

    Are you using a specific video plugin?

    If you set a featured image, then the plugin will display the thumbnail

    Another option is to set the meta field in the plugin setting page where the thumbnail is saved.
