Related Posts showing up twice in posts

Hi, Nevis-1. Did you check “Automatically display related posts?” or did you manually insert the PHP function in the theme file?

Hi jeffparker. Yup you were right, sometime in the dim and distant past I must have manually inserted this into the single.php file. I am not displaying two lists anymore, but I do have a weird format problem with the output. I get the following text “Related Posts B”

Don’t know where the “B” is coming from. See example.

I have the same problem with it showing up more than once. I just installed the plugin. Fresh install. I haven’t made any changes to my single.php or any other one for that matter.

I tried to delete it all and reinstall it. Nothing.

ElevateMindz, can you try disabling other plugins to see if the problem goes away? There could be a conflict with another plugin.

Thanks for your response Jeff Parker. Go ahead and forget this issue. I have the same problem when I added a social plugin. It also is duplicated. I now know it’s a problem with the theme.

ElevateMindz, found the culprit for YARPP adding a “B” after related posts. It was in the yarpp-template-wpml.php file. Hope this helps.

ElevateMindz, just found my last glitch for YARPP. I was able to eliminate the duplicate “Related Posts” by editing the index.php files in my THEME folder. Hope this is of use.

jeffparker, no the duplicate post glitch was caused by something in the index.php file in my theme folder. The problem with the letter “B” showing up after the term “Related Posts” was found in the yarpp-template-wpml.php file.

I am sure it was something I had cut and past a long time ago and failed to see it. Sure it was not your fault. I had initially, YEARS ago installed the plugin manually, as an old theme did not support widgets.
