“Related Posts” – repeating original blog post

    When a user clicks on the “comments” link for a blog post, under related posts it is just a repeat of the original blog post.

    Users have to scroll down about 6 to 7 repeats of the blog post to get to the comment box.

    In addition, there are no related posts being listed.

    How to fix?

    In looking at my blog, I’ve noticed the problem is not what I originally thought.

    here’s the issues:

    If a reader clicks on the “comments” link to leave a comment, the post they are commenting on repeats itself about 5 times before they get to the comment box.

    How to stop the post from repeating?

    Hm… not sure about the comments, but for related posts, I recommend my Yet Another Related Posts Plugin for this. It uses a unique algorithm to give relevant results by creating a “score” for each post, considering the number of shared tags and categories but also by looking at the actual titles and content. Give it a try. ??
