• So, I’ve been doing lots of searches and reading and I still can’t figure out how to use the Related Posts plugin.
The database is setup, I checked with phpmyadmin and all the fields were created. Now, what do I have to do next? Do I have to enter this code <?php related_posts(); ?> in the posts that I write? I did that, and I one theme, nothing was displayed and in the 2nd one, the related posts were listed at the top of the post, and on the bottom right before comments, it was just a header “Related Posts” and nothing else. This was with a K2 theme and the first one was the Glued Subtle theme.

Am I missing something? What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

i would really need some help guys.

    Thank you

I am not familiar with the plugin (you never mentioned which one is in use on your blog) – but as a rule of thumb code like this:
    <?php related_posts(); ?>
should always be pasted into the template file, not the post!

hi Moshu, i did post the link to my site ?? it’s in my first post. And when I open the single.php file, I do see the related posts plugin, but nothing gets displayed in the page, other than the header Related Posts

Actually, it is in the second one… but I never asked for that. I said: you did not name the plugin (since there are more “related posts” plugins)

And don’t get lost in minor details and “sidetracks” – just focus on the main message: put the plugin tag in the template.

the plugin is Related Posts https://wasabi.pbwiki.com/Related%20Entries

Today seems to be that plugin’s day. There were a lot of posts about it – all stating it doesn’t work.
Maybe it’s time to look for another one.

You already posted this above. Why double posting?

ok Moshu, thanks, i guess i have to try another one, if I can find a similar one. Even though I’ve seen this one working on may other sites, including https://bloggingpro.com

    Salut

p.s I refreshed the page so it double posted. Sorry

This seems to be a popular request, for a plugin that shows related posts, now that the wasabi one is dead. There’s gotta be someone out there who could do it, isn’t there?

    1. If you want to read about the plugin, visit this post.
    2. If you want the Plugins and installation instructions, just leave a comment, I’ll upload the Plugin along with instructions.

    Note:
The plugin has not been updated for quite some time, as I do regularly check. So what you’ll get is the original copy only.
