    We are seeing:

    No related posts.

on almost every page of our site. Under Manage Related Posts->Display we currently have no boxes checked, but we tried setting it to just Posts and no difference.

We also tried checking Options -> Hide output if no related post is found – no difference.

We also are finding that editing the text to show when no related post is not updating on the front end.

There is no caching on the site.

Is there somewhere else these settings could be coming from? Or some reason they are not having any effect?

    Hi @metricmedia

    Thanks for using TaxoPress.

Try the shortcode which will look like this [taxopress_relatedposts id=”1″]

Try also changing your theme to the default

Thanks Steve. At present we don’t have any shortcode at all, on any pages. It’s just showing up everywhere. If we add this shortcode (presumably only on the single post template) how does that prevent them showing up on pages?

Tried the default theme (2022) – no change.

Tried adding the shortcode in the editor on one of the pages (which should contain no related posts) – also no change. I still see an empty Related Posts section.

Also tried disabling every other plugin besides TaxoPress.

It seems like TaxoPress is injecting related posts at the end of the_content automatically, with no shortcode required. Is that an option that we can disable somehow?

Yes, please check the documentation: https://taxopress.com/docs/where-to-display-related-posts/

    OK, the documentation:

    1. Shortcode: not using that, either in the editor or in the page template file.

    2. Related Posts widget: looks like the 2022 theme doesn’t support widgets, and when we use our site’s theme, the widget isn’t being used.

    3. Automatic display: we’ve tried various options here.

And still the block appears. Furthermore if we edit the title of related posts or the text to display when there are none, those values do not update on the front end.

I can provide screenshots of our settings, a copy of a representative template file, and/or access to our staging instance of the site, if that would help clarify the situation. I feel like we’re doing everything we can to suppress this on certain pages and nothing is working.
