Re: Settings > Reading > Related posts

Please give me more control of the “Related posts” feature, to wit:

    1. Let me toggle this feature on and off.

    2. Let me write my own header (as I can for share buttons)

    3. Let me control its position below a post, e.g. above or below Share Buttons.

Related posts is not a core feature included in WordPress. This request would need to be addressed to the developers of whatever plugin you are using for related posts.

    cube colour,

With respect, I think you must be wrong.

I have two WordPress.com sites – which have no plugins, and use WP themes. Both have this exact same feature, located at Settings > Reading > Related posts.

What else could this be, but a core feature of WordPress?

Move out of Requests and Feedback, he’s not wrong. ??

    I have two WordPress.com sites

WordPress.COM and self-hosted WordPress software installations are not the same.

Related posts on a self-hosted WordPress site are always added in via a plugin or possibly a theme. It is not a built into WordPress feature.

Thanks for that clarification. I went back and looked again at my four plugins.

I found Related posts in Jetpack.

Must have come in with a recent update to that plugin.

Incidentally, I included a link to my site out of deference to the instructions below.
