Related Posts Error in Blog

  • Hi members,

    i have a blog https://cricketfever.org, the theme that i am using for this blog is lightbreaker theme. the plugin that i use for displaying related posts is “Yet Another Related Posts Plugin”. Everything was working fine till yesterday when i updated the plugin automatically & now i am seeing this error on every post in my blog

    Warning: include(/home6/crickeu0/public_html/wp-content/themes/lightbreaker/) [function.include]: failed to open stream: Success in /home6/crickeu0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/yet-another-related-posts-plugin/magic.php on line 300

    Even after reverting back to an earlier version of the above plugin, it didnt help much & i was still getting the above error but i again updated to the current version & the error continues, is it due to lightbreaker theme being incompatible with this plugin?

    Please help me out

  • What the error message is saying is the theme is trying to open a file named magic.php in the plugin folder and not finding the file. If that file is no longer part of that plugin you will need to edit the theme template files, find the reference to magic.php, and delete it or comment it out. see if it is being called from your theme’s functions.php file, or index.php if that issue is on the front page.

    Hi all– this was fixed with version 3.0.1 which I pushed earlier today. Please give it a try.

    i migrated to version 3.02 & saved the options once again, i guess the problem has been fixed.
