Could you try to deactivate your caching plugin or flush your cache, and let me know if it helps?

Ok, that’s curious. I’m using W3Total cache. Disabling the caching didn’t work, disabling minify did. I’ve currently got the scripts for related posts loading before the end of the body, but disabling minify cured the double posts. Now my question is, why would that happen, and how can I still minify scripts to maintain site performance?

Do you have a way to reset the way Minify works, and activate it again? It might be a small glitch after the update.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks Jeremy, I’ve got it sorted now. related-posts.js was getting included twice, once in the head and once at the end of body. I’m not sure how I have managed to solve that one, but I’ve fiddled and the problem has now gone away. Thanks for you help.

I was having the same problem, and decided to post my “fix” here in case others have this problem also.

For me, it was a problem with my minification plugin (I was using WP Minify). First, I turned off Javascript minification, to see if that was the problem. It was.

Since I wanted Javascript minification, I simply excluded the related-posts.js file from being minified. For me, it was located here:

    /wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/related-posts/related-posts.js
