Related posts depending on Category Used in current post

    I need to display contents from specific custom post types by filtering them depending on the URL or the Current Post that they are on.

    Say the URL is
    something.com/post-type/india-launches-satellite
    This Post has a Category: National News
    Then the plugin should search for “National News” in other custom post types and display results relating to only ” National News” post from other post types.

    The plugin should display content from Other Related Post Types tagged with Category: National News only.

    Similarly if the current post has a Category: Global News, then other custom post types and display results relating to only “Global News” post from other post types.

    Can this be achieved with YARPP.

    Absolutley, snaushads. The “Relatedness” screen will let you decide if you want related posts based on more than the category, too, such as tags, title, body text, etc.

    Thanks @jeff, so this Plugin identifies the taxonomy id from the URL ?

    I will explore the plugin now…
