Related posts are also showing on category & archive pages

After the last update, Related posts started showing up everywhere. In tags, categories, under every post on the main post, breaking the entire layout. Temporarily disabled the plugin, how do I fix it?

Sorry for the inconvenience. We mistakenly set some default values. Please go to Related post Settings General => Excerpt position and deselect the before and after field. Kindly follow the screenshot:

Could you please install the latest version, 2.0.44? to get the latest version go to your WordPress dashboard => Updates. You can look for our plugin here, then select the plugin and update.

But now there is another problem – all posts are displayed in the same similar posts, and they are all the first posts on the site.

Also, when I tried to manually select similar posts in the post settings, a “Sorry no related post found” error appeared. Then I deleted the manually selected similar posts, but the error is still there, and now this post has no similar posts at all.

Yes, all the problems are solved now, thank you! But for the future, if you want, you can improve the system of manual selection of similar posts. If the main settings specify, for example, 6 similar posts, and only 2 are manually selected, the other 4 are filled in automatically according to the main settings. Now when you manually select, it shows exactly how many are selected. Maybe it suits someone, and someone does not. Maybe add another option “automatically fill up to the number set in the global settings”?
